Responsibilities

• Safely operate flatbed tractors and trailers for regional and long-haul freight
• Secure, tarp, and inspect flatbed loads to prevent shifting or damage
• Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations and policies
• Plan routes and manage hours to ensure on-time deliveries and pickups
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and required shipment documentation
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff
• Report equipment issues promptly and coordinate necessary maintenance
• Handle freight with care, following proper loading and unloading procedures
• Represent Koch Trucking's family-owned, safety-focused culture on the road
