Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed trucks for regional and long-haul freight under DOT and company safety standards
• Secure and tarp flatbed loads using chains, straps, and other securement equipment
• Perform accurate pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report defects
• Maintain compliant electronic logs and trip paperwork
• Plan routes to ensure on-time pick-up and delivery while managing HOS limits
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff
• Protect freight integrity through careful handling and regular load checks
• Follow all company safety programs and participate in ongoing training
• Care for and report issues on assigned late-model equipment
• Represent Koch Trucking's family-owned, driver-focused values on the road
