Join the American National Red Cross as a Driver in our Healthcare & Medical Services industry, supporting the Transportation & Logistics department. In this mission-driven role, you will safely transport patients, staff, blood products, and medical supplies between facilities, blood drives, and disaster-response sites. You'll complete vehicle inspections, follow strict safety and hygiene protocols, and provide compassionate assistance to vulnerable clients. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll help ensure reliable, timely service that directly supports our humanitarian and healthcare missions while growing your skills through meaningful, impactful work.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Red Cross vehicles to transport patients, staff, blood products, and medical supplies between facilities and event sites.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and organizational procedures to ensure secure transport.
  • Assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles, providing compassionate, respectful support.
  • Coordinate routes and schedules to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries for healthcare and disaster-response activities.
  • Maintain accurate logs of mileage, trips, and deliveries in accordance with Red Cross policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare, logistics, and disaster-response teams to support mission-critical operations.
  • Uphold Red Cross values of compassion, diversity, and inclusion in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
