Diesel Technician

Hogan Transportation is seeking a Diesel Technician for our 2nd shift maintenance team supporting a diverse transportation fleet. In this role, you will perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on diesel tractors and trailers, ensuring safe, reliable equipment for our drivers and customers. Responsibilities include troubleshooting engine, brake, and electrical systems, completing DOT inspections, documenting work performed, and following strict safety and company standards. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, and related components on tractors and trailers
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections to ensure fleet safety and reliability
• Troubleshoot and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and cooling systems
• Use diagnostic software, tools, and service manuals to identify and resolve mechanical issues
• Document all work performed, parts used, and inspection findings in maintenance systems
• Follow all company, OSHA, and DOT safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with drivers, dispatch, and maintenance leadership to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime
• Support a 2nd shift schedule, including occasional overtime as operational needs require
