Deputy Project Manager

Conduent State & Local Solutions, Inc. seeks a Deputy Project Manager to support complex public-sector programs that modernize state and local government services. This role coordinates project plans, schedules, risks, and deliverables across technology and operations teams, ensuring on-time, compliant execution. The Deputy PM prepares reports, supports stakeholder communications, and tracks performance metrics to enable data-driven decisions. Responsibilities

• Support overall planning and delivery of state and local government projects
• Coordinate scope, schedule, budget, and quality with senior project leadership
• Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies and support mitigation plans
• Prepare project reports, status updates, and stakeholder communications
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical and operations teams
• Support requirements gathering and documentation for public-sector solutions
• Track performance metrics and support data-driven decision making
• Assist with vendor, partner, and client coordination
• Help ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and security requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes
