Truck Driver CDL Class B

Ryder System is hiring a regional Truck Driver CDL Class B to support our transportation and warehousing operations. In this role, you'll safely operate a Class B truck on regional routes, handling freight pick-up and delivery for key customers. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, secure loading, accurate logkeeping, and adherence to DOT and Ryder safety standards. You'll work closely with dispatch and warehouse teams, deliver excellent customer service at each stop, and help maintain Ryder's strong safety-first, performance-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class B truck on regional routes with occasional overnights
• Load, secure, transport, and unload freight safely and efficiently
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and Ryder standards
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery paperwork, and electronic records
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
• Report equipment issues promptly and support basic truck care
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at delivery locations
