Class A Truck Driver

Ryder System is seeking a dependable Truck Driver OTR Class A to support our Transportation & Logistics operations. In this role, you will safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on long-haul routes, ensuring on-time, damage-free deliveries while maintaining full DOT and FMCSA compliance. You'll perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, manage electronic logs, and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers. Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on multi-state OTR routes
• Maintain strict compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and Ryder safety standards
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects
• Secure and protect cargo to prevent damage or loss
• Use ELDs and logs to accurately record hours of service
• Coordinate with dispatch to meet delivery schedules and resolve issues
• Provide professional customer service at pickup and delivery locations
• Follow route plans while adapting to traffic, weather, and road conditions
• Maintain clean, well-kept equipment and report maintenance needs promptly
