Truck Driver CDL A

Ryder System is seeking a dependable Truck Driver CDL A to support our Transportation & Logistics operations. In this role, you will safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight between customer locations and Ryder facilities while complying with DOT regulations and company policies. Responsibilities include performing accurate pre/post-trip inspections, securing and unloading cargo, maintaining electronic logs and delivery paperwork, and communicating effectively with dispatch and customers. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers to transport freight between customer and Ryder locations
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and unloaded per safety standards
• Maintain accurate ELD logs, delivery paperwork, and manifests
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and Ryder safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
• Report delays, incidents, or equipment issues promptly
• Follow trip plans and schedules while managing hours-of-service limits
• Provide professional, courteous service at customer locations
• Participate in ongoing safety trainings and continuous improvement efforts
