ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education seeks an Instructional Aide 1:1 to support a student with specialized learning and behavioral needs. In this on-site role, you'll provide individualized academic and behavioral assistance, reinforce therapeutic and educational goals, and help implement evidence-based strategies designed by teachers and clinicians. You will collect progress data, assist with classroom routines, and promote safety, inclusion, and positive social skills. Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 instructional support to a designated student in classroom and small-group settings.
  • Reinforce academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals under teacher and clinician guidance.
  • Implement behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques as trained.
  • Support IEP-related accommodations and modifications as directed by certified staff.
  • Collect and document student data on behavior, engagement, and progress.
  • Assist with transitions, routines, and supervision in classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support student success.
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
