Truck driver CDL A Regional

Ryder System is hiring a CDL A Regional Truck Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics operations. In this role, you'll safely operate late-model tractors on multi-day regional routes, hauling freight between distribution centers and customer locations. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, load securement, accurate paperwork, and strict adherence to DOT and Ryder safety standards. You'll use onboard technology to optimize routes, communicate with dispatch, and deliver exceptional customer service while contributing to Ryder's culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailer on regional routes for Ryder System
• Transport freight between distribution centers and customer locations on schedule
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring equipment safety and compliance
• Secure loads, manage bills of lading, and complete required logs and documentation
• Comply with DOT, FMCSA, and Ryder safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, planners, and customers regarding routes and delays
• Use onboard technology and routing systems to optimize deliveries
• Report vehicle defects, incidents, and maintenance needs promptly
• Support Ryder's culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at all delivery points
