Instructional Aide

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education seeks an Instructional Aide to support teachers serving children and young adults in specialized educational settings. In this role, you'll assist with individualized and small-group instruction, implement behavior support plans, collect student data, and help adapt materials for diverse learning needs. You will collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to promote student success, independence, and social-emotional growth. Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with individualized and small-group instruction aligned to lesson plans and IEP goals.
• Support implementation of behavior intervention plans and reinforcement strategies.
• Collect and record academic, behavioral, and attendance data accurately and timely.
• Help adapt instructional materials for diverse learning needs and accessibility.
• Provide supervision and support during transitions, lunch, and recess to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to promote student progress and independence.
• Model appropriate social, communication, and self-regulation skills for students.
• Maintain a supportive, respectful classroom environment aligned with program expectations.
• Communicate observations about student performance and behavior to the instructional team.
• Participate in required training, meetings, and professional development sessions.
