Truck Driver CDL A Team

Ryder System is seeking a CDL A Team Truck Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics operations. In this role, you'll safely operate late-model equipment on regional and long-haul routes, ensuring on-time, damage-free delivery for diverse customers. You'll run as part of a driver team, managing trip planning, Hours-of-Service compliance, and accurate log documentation. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A tractor-trailer as part of a driver team on regional and long-haul routes
• Ensure safe, compliant vehicle operation following all DOT/FMCSA regulations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and required documentation
• Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams for on-time pickups and deliveries
• Secure freight properly to prevent damage and ensure load safety
• Communicate professionally with customers and Ryder operations staff
• Follow company safety policies and participate in safety meetings and training
• Assist with basic equipment troubleshooting and reporting maintenance needs
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in route efficiency and customer service
