Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck on assigned routes to meet expected delivery times
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
• Strict adherence to regulations and safety standards set by both the company and regulatory bodies
• Maintain logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records with updated information
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams to report any delays or issues
• Participate in team driving to cover long routes ensuring goods are delivered on schedule
• Work collaboratively with fellow drivers to ensure a seamless handover and coordination during team drives
• Drive under varied weather conditions and navigate routes efficiently with the aid of GPS and route maps
