Truck Driver CDL A

Ryder System is hiring a CDL A Truck Driver for regional routes with weekends off. In this role, you'll safely operate late-model Ryder equipment to deliver freight on time while following all DOT and company safety standards. Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, loading and securing freight, maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation, and communicating with dispatch and customers. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers for regional routes, ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries
• Follow all DOT, Ryder, and customer safety policies, inspections, and documentation requirements
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
• Secure, load, and unload freight while protecting product quality and accuracy
• Use electronic logs and onboard systems to track hours of service and delivery status
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
• Maintain accurate delivery records, manifests, and required compliance paperwork
• Support Ryder's customer-focused culture through courteous, reliable service
• Adhere to assigned schedules while managing routes efficiently with weekends off
• Participate in ongoing safety and driver training programs
