OTR driver

Ryder System is hiring an OTR Driver based in St. Joseph, MO. This role hauls freight across regional and national lanes, ensuring on-time, safe deliveries. You'll conduct pre/post-trip inspections, follow DOT/FMCSA regulations, maintain accurate ELD logs, and secure loads properly. Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer on OTR routes originating from St. Joseph, MODeliver freight on time across regional and national lanes
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and document findings
• Comply with all DOT/FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
• Maintain accurate ELD records and required paperwork
• Secure and protect freight to prevent damage or loss
• Communicate with dispatch regarding route status, delays, and issues
• Report equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance as needed
