Truck Driver CDL B

Ryder System is seeking a CDL B Solo Truck Driver to support our transportation and warehousing operations. In this role, you will safely operate a CDL B vehicle to complete local and regional deliveries, load and secure freight, and follow strict Ryder and DOT safety standards. You'll conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and communicate closely with dispatch to meet customer schedules. Working in Ryder's safety-first, performance-driven culture, you'll serve customers professionally while gaining experience with industry-leading logistics and transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL B truck to deliver freight on scheduled routes
• Load, secure, and unload materials following Ryder safety standards
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
• Follow DOT regulations, Ryder policies, and customer delivery requirements
• Communicate with dispatch and warehouse teams to resolve delivery issues
• Report vehicle defects, incidents, and delays promptly
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at delivery locations
• Support basic yard/warehouse tasks as needed to keep operations moving
