Truck Driver CDL B Solo

Ryder System seeks a dependable Truck Driver CDL B Solo for local and regional routes. In this role, you'll safely operate Ryder trucks, transport freight between customer locations and Ryder facilities, and complete timely, accurate deliveries. Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, securing and unloading freight, maintaining logs and paperwork, and following all DOT and Ryder safety standards. You'll work in a safety-first, team-oriented environment with opportunities for overtime, skill development, and long-term growth in transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL B trucks on assigned local and regional routes
• Load, secure, and unload freight following Ryder and DOT standards
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and electronic records
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations and procedures
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members
• Adhere to delivery schedules while managing time and routes efficiently
• Report incidents, delays, or equipment issues promptly
