Regional Truck Driver

Ryder System is seeking a Regional Truck Driver CDL A to support our growing transportation network across North America. In this field-based role, you will operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on regional routes, delivering freight safely, efficiently, and on time. You'll perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and follow all DOT and Ryder safety standards. Working closely with dispatch and warehouse teams, you'll help keep supply chains running smoothly while providing professional, customer-focused service at each stop. Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on regional routes, ensuring safe and timely delivery of freight
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs and documentation
• Follow Ryder and DOT safety regulations, hours-of-service rules, and company policies
• Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse, and customer teams to meet delivery schedules
• Secure loads properly and perform basic equipment checks and troubleshooting
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at pickup and delivery locations
• Report equipment issues, incidents, and delays promptly to supervision
• Support continuous improvement and productivity goals within Ryder's operations
