Truck Driver CDL Class A

Ryder System seeks a CDL Class A Truck Driver to safely transport freight across regional and long-haul routes. You'll operate late-model tractors and trailers, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and follow DOT, safety, and Ryder policies. Responsibilities include timely pickups and deliveries, securement of loads, accurate logkeeping with ELDs, and basic equipment troubleshooting. You'll interact professionally with dispatch and customers, support a safety-first culture, and may assist with yard moves or dock work. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A tractor-trailers on regional and long-haul routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects
• Comply with DOT regulations, Ryder safety policies, and hours-of-service rules
• Secure and handle freight to prevent damage and ensure load integrity
• Use ELD systems to maintain accurate driving logs and documentation
• Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding routes, delays, and delivery status
• Meet on-time pickup and delivery performance targets
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance as needed
• Follow yard, dock, and warehouse procedures; assist with moves or loading as required
• Promote Ryder's safety-first, customer-focused culture on and off the road
