Class A CDL Driver

Ryder System is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Driver to support our transportation and logistics operations. In this role, you will safely operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight between customer locations, yards, and distribution centers while maintaining strict DOT and Ryder safety standards. Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, accurate ELD logging, securement and handling of freight, and timely, professional customer service at each stop. Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for local and regional freight deliveries
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues promptly
• Comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations and Ryder safety policies at all times
• Use electronic logging devices (ELDs) to accurately record hours of service
• Secure, load, and unload freight as required, ensuring product integrity
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, bills of lading, and trip documentation
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and Ryder team members
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while managing time effectively
• Report incidents, delays, or equipment problems immediately
• Support Ryder's safety-first, customer-focused culture and performance standards
