Truck Driver CDL A Floater

Ryder System is hiring a Truck Driver CDL A Floater with no weekend work. In this role, you will safely operate tractor-trailers, covering multiple local and regional routes as business needs change. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, complying with DOT regulations, securing freight, and completing electronic logs and paperwork. You'll work closely with dispatch and customers, adjusting routes to meet service goals. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers as a floater driver covering multiple routes and customers with no weekend schedules
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicles meet Ryder safety and DOT standards
• Transport freight between warehouses, customer sites, and distribution centers on time and in full
• Secure loads, verify documentation, and complete electronic logs and delivery paperwork accurately
• Communicate with dispatch, operations, and customers to adjust routes and resolve issues in real time
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and customer site procedures
• Report equipment issues promptly and coordinate maintenance with Ryder service teams
• Provide professional, courteous service representing Ryder at customer locations
