Truck Driver CDL A NO Weekends

Ryder, a leader in logistics and transportation solutions, is looking for an experienced and dedicated CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. This position does not require weekend work, allowing for a better work-life balance while still contributing to our commitment to efficiency and innovative supply chain support. As a part of our fleet team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods, helping Ryder support businesses across various industries without the need to work over the weekend.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck to fulfill daily delivery assignments.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure that the mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• Manage routes and routines to proceed in the most efficient way possible.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws and maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair statuses.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations and ensure compliance with transportation laws.
• Secure cargo for transport using ropes, blocks, chains, or covers where necessary.
