Truck Driver CDL A Solo Flex

Ryder System is seeking a CDL A Solo Flex Truck Driver to support our dedicated transportation and logistics operations. In this role, you'll safely operate a tractor-trailer on regional and local routes, flexing between schedules, lanes, and customers based on business needs. You'll complete pre- and post-trip inspections, adhere to DOT and Ryder safety standards, and use on-board technology and ELDs to manage routes and logs. Working closely with dispatch and operations, you'll ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries while providing professional, customer-focused service that reflects Ryder's safety-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailer on regional and local routes hauling freight for Ryder customers
• Follow all DOT, Ryder, and customer safety, inspection, and documentation procedures
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
• Manage schedules, routes, and logs using Ryder systems and on-board technology
• Flex between routes, shifts, and customers based on operational needs
• Ensure secure loading, unloading, and proper handling of freight
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at pickup and delivery locations
• Collaborate with dispatch, fleet maintenance, and operations teams to resolve issues quickly
• Comply with hours-of-service regulations and company policies
• Maintain clean, organized vehicle and represent Ryder's brand and values on the road
