Truck Driver CDL Class A

Ryder System is hiring an entry-level Truck Driver CDL Class A to support our transportation and warehousing operations. In this role, you'll safely operate company tractor-trailers on regional or local routes, delivering freight on time while following DOT and Ryder safety standards. Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, accurate log and ELD use, and proper freight loading and securement. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL Class A tractor-trailers on assigned regional or local routes
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues
• Comply with DOT regulations, Ryder safety policies, and hours-of-service rules
• Accurately maintain logs, ELD records, and delivery documentation
• Load, unload, and secure freight as required to prevent damage
• Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delivery status
• Follow designated routes while adapting to traffic and weather conditions
• Participate in safety meetings and required training programs
