Support Truck Driver

Ryder System is hiring a Support Truck Driver to help keep our transportation and warehousing operations running safely and on time. In this role, you will operate support trucks to move materials, equipment, and freight between warehouses, yards, and customer locations, following strict safety and DOT standards. You'll coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams, assist with loading and unloading, and maintain accurate logs and inspection records. Responsibilities

• Safely operate support trucks to transport materials, equipment, and goods between warehouses, yards, and customer locations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting and reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Follow all DOT, company, and site-specific safety regulations, including proper load securement and PPE use.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and drivers to support routing, loading, and unloading activities.
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and electronic records using Ryder systems and handheld devices.
• Assist with basic material handling, staging freight, and supporting yard operations as needed.
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at all locations, representing Ryder's safety-first culture.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve driving, safety, and operational skills.
