HVAC Controls Technician

ABM Industries is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician to support safe, efficient building operations across commercial, education, healthcare, and industrial facilities. In this role, you will install, program, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC control systems and building automation systems (BAS) to maintain occupant comfort, indoor air quality, and energy efficiency. You'll perform diagnostics, calibrations, and preventative maintenance, respond to service calls, and document work in compliance with safety and company standards. Responsibilities

• Install, program, and configure HVAC control and building automation systems
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC controls, sensors, actuators, and related components
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and BAS equipment
• Calibrate control devices and verify proper system operation and sequences
• Monitor, analyze, and adjust systems for comfort, reliability, and energy efficiency
• Respond to service calls and resolve control issues in a timely manner
• Read and interpret control drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
• Document work performed, test results, and parts used in work order systems
• Follow ABM and client safety procedures and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with facility staff, engineers, and vendors to support building operations
