CDL-A Truck Driver

Ryder, a leader in transportation and logistics, is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A for a no-touch solo driving position. This role is vital for the seamless operation of our dedicated transportation services. The ideal candidate is devoted to safety, efficiency, and the highest levels of client service. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to a variety of clients across designated routes. This position requires strict adherence to road safety regulations and no-touch freight protocols, ensuring all deliveries are handled with care and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck on solo runs.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle.
• Comply with company policies, safety regulations, and state/federal laws.
• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving, retain fuel/toll receipts.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations encountered during the operations.
• Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Maintain communication with dispatch to confirm routes, deliveries, and any travel issues.

Required Skills

• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
