Truck Driver OTR CDL A

Ryder System is hiring an experienced CDL A OTR Truck Driver to support our nationwide logistics and transportation network. In this role, you'll operate late-model Ryder tractors on long-haul routes, ensuring safe, on-time delivery of freight for leading brands. You will perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, secure and verify loads, maintain accurate ELD logs, and comply with all DOT/FMCSA regulations. Responsibilities

• Operate Ryder tractor-trailers safely on long-haul OTR routes across North America
• Pick up, transport, and deliver freight on time while following DOT and company regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting defects and coordinating maintenance
• Secure loads properly and verify documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts
• Use onboard and routing technology to plan efficient routes and update dispatch
• Maintain accurate logbooks, ELD records, and trip reports per regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and Ryder operations teams
• Follow Ryder's safety-first policies, including PPE use and incident reporting
• Provide professional customer service at shipping and receiving locations
• Support continuous improvement by reporting hazards and suggesting process improvements
