Truck Driver CDL A

Ryder System seeks a part-time CDL-A Truck Driver to support dedicated transportation and logistics operations. In this solo role, you'll safely operate late-model equipment, complete regional routes, and ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, accurate log-keeping, freight securement, and professional customer interaction. You'll work within Ryder's safety-first, operations-driven culture, with training, modern fleet technology, and opportunities to grow across our North American logistics network.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-A tractor-trailer safely for regional solo routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and Ryder standards
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and trip documentation
• Secure, inspect, and protect freight to prevent damage
• Follow FMCSA/DOT regulations and Ryder safety policies
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers
• Report vehicle issues promptly for maintenance follow-up
• Adhere to scheduled delivery and pickup times
• Use route navigation tools to plan efficient trips
• Represent Ryder with professionalism at customer sites
