Truck Driver Class A

Ryder System is hiring a Class A Truck Driver to support our Transportation & Warehousing operations. In this role, you will safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on local and regional routes, transporting freight between customer sites, warehouses, and distribution centers. You'll conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, follow all DOT and Ryder safety standards, and accurately complete logs and delivery documentation. Working in our safety-first, team-oriented culture, you'll represent Ryder at customer locations while contributing to reliable, on-time logistics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on assigned routes
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete logs per DOT rules
• Load, secure, and unload freight using proper safety procedures
• Follow company safety policies and all federal, state, and local regulations
• Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and deliveries
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues promptly
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers at delivery locations
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and electronic records
