Truck Driver CDL A Solo

Ryder System is seeking a reliable Part-Time CDL A Truck Driver to safely transport freight for our dedicated customers. In this solo role, you'll complete regional routes, conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries. You'll follow all DOT, safety, and Ryder operational standards while maintaining accurate logs and paperwork. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A tractor-trailer safely on regional solo routes
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues
• Transport freight on time while preventing damage and following load securement standards
• Comply with all DOT regulations, Ryder policies, and safety procedures
• Maintain accurate electronic logs, trip reports, and delivery paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding routes and delivery status
• Follow route plans and optimize driving for fuel efficiency and safety
• Monitor equipment condition and coordinate maintenance as needed
• Represent Ryder professionally with strong customer service at pickup and delivery sites
• Support a safety-first culture and participate in required safety and training programs
