CDL A Regional Truck Driver

Ryder System is hiring a CDL A Regional Truck Driver to support dedicated transportation and logistics operations across the region. In this role, you will safely operate late-model tractors and 53' trailers on regional routes, ensuring on-time, damage-free delivery of freight for major customers. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, accurate logkeeping, and compliance with DOT and Ryder safety standards. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A tractors and 53' trailers on assigned regional routes
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Comply with DOT, Hours-of-Service, and Ryder safety policies
• Secure and handle freight to prevent damage and ensure load integrity
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and required documentation
• Coordinate with dispatch on routes, schedules, and load details
• Provide professional, courteous service at customer sites
• Report equipment issues and support basic troubleshooting
• Adhere to on-time pickup and delivery performance standards
