Class A Regional Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailer on regional routes following all safety procedures
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects
• Comply with FMCSA/DOT regulations and Ryder safety policies
• Use ELD and mobile systems to maintain accurate logs and delivery records
• Secure, handle, and verify freight in accordance with company standards
• Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams to meet on-time delivery goals
• Communicate professionally with customers at pickup and delivery locations
• Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance needs promptly
