Truck Driver Class A Regional

Ryder, a leader in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver with a Class A CDL for regional routes. Our drivers are crucial in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our supply chain solutions, supporting a broad range of industries. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing timely deliveries and maintaining safety standards, ensuring Ryder's commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle over assigned routes while adhering to all traffic laws.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, reporting any concerns.
• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations immediately.
• Handle paperwork related to each load and collect signatures from customers as necessary.
• Maintain constant communication with logistics managers regarding route progress.
