Responsibilities

• Drive long-haul routes as part of a two-person team, managing schedules and routes for optimal delivery times.
• Ensure safety and compliance with both national and company policies and regulations.
• Operate Ryder provided vehicles with care, maintaining cleanliness and reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
• Complete all necessary documentation including logs of working hours or vehicle service reports.
• Communicate effectively with team partners and central dispatch personnel to ensure efficient operations.
• Adherence to Ryder's protocols regarding no-touch freight policies, ensuring cargo integrity from pickup to delivery.
