Regional Class A Truck Driver

Ryder System is hiring a Regional Class A Truck Driver to support our transportation and logistics operations. In this role, you will operate a Class A tractor-trailer on regional routes, providing safe, on-time deliveries between Ryder facilities and customer locations. You'll perform pre- and post-trip inspections, secure and handle freight, maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs, and communicate closely with dispatch and customers. Responsibilities

• Operate a regional Class A tractor-trailer safely and efficiently on scheduled routes
• Transport freight between Ryder facilities and customer locations with on-time delivery
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting and addressing equipment issues
• Secure, load, and unload freight following Ryder and DOT safety standards
• Maintain accurate driver logs, trip records, and required DOT documentation
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and Ryder safety policies and procedures
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and operations teams
• Report delays, incidents, and maintenance needs promptly to supervisors
• Support continuous improvement in safety, service, and fuel efficiency
• Represent Ryder's safety-first, customer-focused culture on every route

Required Skills

• Class A CDL driving
