ABM Industries is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Technician to support critical facility operations across commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial sites. In this role, you'll perform advanced testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical and control systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. You'll interpret schematics, execute test plans, document results, and collaborate with engineers and site teams. Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and validation of facility systems and equipment
  • Execute test procedures using meters, scopes, and specialized test rigs; document and report results
  • Diagnose faults in controls, panels, and power distribution and support corrective actions
  • Collaborate with engineers and facility teams to improve reliability and safety of systems
  • Maintain test records, logs, and calibration status in accordance with ABM and client standards
  • Follow NFPA, NEC, and OSHA safety practices and support energy lockout/tagout procedures
  • Assist in commissioning, upgrades, and retrofits of electrical and control systems
  • Provide technical support during outages and critical maintenance windows
  • Train junior technicians on test methods, safety, and proper tool use
  • Participate in continuous improvement, inspections, and audits of facility electrical systems
