Industrial Millwright

Industrial Trade Services is seeking an Industrial Millwright to support construction, maintenance, and turnaround projects in industrial, utility, and energy facilities. You will install, align, and maintain rotating equipment, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other heavy machinery using precision tools and rigging methods. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical issues, reading drawings, performing safe rigging and equipment moves, and following strict safety standards. Work is field-based on complex, large-scale projects with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and assemble industrial machinery, rotating equipment, and material handling systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and related equipment
• Use precision alignment tools, including dial indicators and laser alignment systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, layouts, and P&IDs for equipment installations
• Plan and execute safe rigging, lifting, and moving of heavy equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform root-cause analysis and repairs
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and site-specific safety protocols
• Document work performed and communicate equipment status to supervisors and clients
• Collaborate with other trades and site teams to support construction and turnaround schedules
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe, organized condition
