Truck Driver CDL A

Ryder System is hiring a CDL A Truck Driver for regional team routes with consistent home-weekly schedules. In this role, you'll safely operate late-model equipment, complete on-time pickups and deliveries, and follow Ryder and DOT safety standards. Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, accurate ELD and trip documentation, freight securement, and professional customer interactions. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers for regional routes as part of a team
• Meet Ryder and DOT safety, inspection, and compliance standards
• Complete timely pickups and deliveries according to route schedules
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues
• Accurately manage logs, bills of lading, and delivery documentation
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues
• Secure freight and ensure proper loading and unloading procedures
• Follow company policies and procedures including HOS regulations
• Collaborate with co-driver to optimize drive time and rest periods
• Represent Ryder with professional customer service at all stops
