ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Paraprofessional to support children and young adults with behavioral and learning challenges. In this on-site role, you will assist in classrooms and 1:1 settings, implementing behavior and education plans, reinforcing skills, and helping manage behaviors using evidence-based strategies. You will collect data, support de-escalation, and collaborate closely with teachers and clinicians in a compassionate, mission-driven environment focused on student growth. Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with behavioral and learning challenges.
  • Implement behavior intervention and education plans under supervision of clinicians and teachers.
  • Collect and record behavior and academic data accurately and on schedule.
  • Support classroom management, routines, and positive behavior strategies.
  • Assist with de-escalation and use approved crisis-prevention techniques when needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support student goals.
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Protect student confidentiality and follow all organizational and regulatory policies.
  • Participate in required training, coaching, and team meetings.
  • Support student transitions, daily living, and social skills as appropriate.
