Truck Driver CDL A Regional Flex

Ryder System is hiring a Regional Flex CDL A Truck Driver to support flexible routes across our transportation and warehousing network. In this on-the-road role, you'll safely operate late-model Ryder equipment on regional runs, handling a mix of lanes, customers, and schedules. Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, compliant use of ELDs, freight securement, and accurate documentation. You'll coordinate closely with dispatch, follow DOT and Ryder safety standards, and deliver excellent customer service while adapting to changing routes and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A tractor-trailer on regional routes safely and efficiently
• Transport freight between warehouses, customer sites, and distribution centers
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete driver logs accurately
• Follow DOT, Ryder, and customer safety and compliance standards
• Coordinate with dispatch on schedules, routes, and load assignments
• Secure loads and verify shipping documentation and deliveries
• Report equipment issues and support basic preventative maintenance
• Provide professional, courteous service to Ryder and customer staff
• Adhere to hours-of-service regulations and Ryder policies
• Support flexible routing, shifts, and coverage needs as assigned
