Truck Driver CDL Class A Solo

Ryder System seeks a dependable CDL Class A Solo Truck Driver to support regional transportation operations. In this role, you'll safely operate a tractor-trailer, complete on-time pickups and deliveries, and uphold Ryder's safety-first, customer-focused standards. Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, load securement, accurate ELD and log entry, and adherence to DOT regulations and company policies. You'll coordinate closely with dispatch, represent Ryder professionally at customer sites, and contribute to an operations-driven team with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A tractor-trailer for regional routes, ensuring on-time deliveries
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Follow DOT regulations, Ryder safety policies, and customer site procedures
• Secure loads, handle basic freight documentation, and maintain accurate logs
• Communicate with dispatch on schedules, route changes, and service issues
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at delivery and pickup locations
• Adhere to fuel, routing, and hours-of-service guidelines to maximize efficiency
• Support a safety-first culture by reporting incidents, hazards, and near-misses
