Journeyman HVAC Installation

CoolSys is hiring a Journeyman HVAC Installation technician to install and start up commercial and industrial HVAC systems for retail, commercial, and mission-critical customers. In this field role, you will set and pipe equipment, run refrigerant and condensate lines, install ductwork, and perform electrical terminations while following plans and specifications. You'll ensure safe, code-compliant, energy-efficient installations and support system startup, testing, and documentation. Responsibilities

• Install and set commercial and industrial HVAC equipment per plans and specifications.
• Run, braze, and pressure-test refrigerant, condensate, and associated piping systems.
• Install and align ductwork, supports, and related air distribution components.
• Perform HVAC electrical terminations and basic control wiring per code.
• Assist with equipment startup, testing, balancing support, and system commissioning.
• Follow all Cool
• Sys and OSHA safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe jobsite.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals accurately.
• Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to meet schedules.
• Document work performed, materials used, and issues encountered for each project.
• Provide professional, customer-focused communication at active job sites.
