Technical Trainer

As a Technical Trainer at Lonza, you will design and deliver engaging training that strengthens skills in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, GMP compliance, and technical operations. You will partner with operations, quality, and engineering teams to assess training needs, develop SOP-based curricula, and maintain content in our LMS. By evaluating training effectiveness and driving continuous improvement, you will help ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production of therapies that improve patient health worldwide in a collaborative, science-driven environment with strong opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver classroom and virtual technical training on biopharma manufacturing processes and GMP practices.
• Assess training needs with operations, quality, and engineering leaders to align programs with site and global objectives.
• Develop and maintain training materials, SOP-based curricula, and e-learning content in the LMS.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using metrics and feedback; implement improvements to close performance gaps.
• Ensure training programs comply with regulatory and quality requirements in a c
• GMP environment.
• Coach SMEs to deliver high-quality technical training and facilitate knowledge transfer across shifts and sites.
• Support onboarding and upskilling programs for manufacturing, QC, and technical staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on change control, new technology introduction, and process updates impacting training.
