Pipefitter Journeyman

CoolSys is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Pipefitter Journeyman to install, fit, and repair refrigeration and mechanical piping systems for commercial and industrial projects within our HVAC Wholesale division. In this field role, you will read blueprints, lay out piping, braze and weld copper and steel, perform pressure tests, and support equipment start-ups. You'll work hands-on with advanced HVAC-R solutions, collaborating with technicians and project teams in a safety-first, customer-focused culture with strong opportunities for technical training and career growth.

Responsibilities

• Install, fit, and repair HVAC/R piping for commercial and industrial projects
• Interpret blueprints and plans to lay out and route refrigeration and mechanical piping
• Braise, weld, and join copper and steel piping to Cool
• Sys quality standards
• Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and contractors to complete installs on time
• Perform pressure tests, leak checks, and system start-up support
• Maintain a safety-first jobsite and follow all company and OSHA guidelines
• Document work performed and communicate status and issues to supervisors
• Support training and mentorship of apprentices and junior installers
