Flatbed Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-A flatbed equipment on regional and over-the-road routes
• Secure, tarp, and inspect flatbed loads in accordance with safety regulations
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs
• Follow DOT, company, and customer safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delivery status
• Manage trip planning, routing, and time to meet on-time pickup and delivery requirements
• Care for and report maintenance needs on assigned truck and equipment
• Adhere to hours-of-service regulations and company compliance standards
