CoolSys, a leader in sustainable, energy-efficient HVACR solutions, is seeking an HVAC/R Service Technician to join our HVAC Wholesale team. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy savings for clients across North America. You will diagnose system issues, perform preventive maintenance, and provide exceptional customer service on-site. Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on commercial and industrial HVACR systems for wholesale and end-user customers
- Install, start up, and commission new HVACR equipment and related controls to meet performance and manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues using digital tools, gauges, and schematics to identify root causes and recommend solutions
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and enhance energy efficiency of customer systems
- Recover, evacuate, and charge refrigerants in compliance with EPA and company standards, ensuring safe and environmentally responsible handling
- Collaborate with the Technical & Maintenance team to resolve complex technical issues and support continuous improvement in service quality
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and field support to junior technicians and assist wholesale customers with product and application questions
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, repair options, timelines, and energy-efficiency opportunities, ensuring high satisfaction
- Accurately complete service tickets, work orders, and digital documentation, including parts usage, labor time, and equipment condition
- Adhere to all safety protocols, codes, and company policies while maintaining a clean, organized work area and company vehicle
