CoolSys, a leader in sustainable, energy-efficient HVACR solutions, is seeking an HVAC/R Service Technician to join our HVAC Wholesale team. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy savings for clients across North America. You will diagnose system issues, perform preventive maintenance, and provide exceptional customer service on-site. Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of complex commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R equipment, documenting work performed and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and system life.
  • Install, start up, and commission HVAC/R components and systems in accordance with Cool
  • Sys standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance for energy efficiency, recommending upgrades, retrofits, or adjustments that reduce energy consumption and operating costs for clients.
  • Respond to service calls in a timely, professional manner, clearly communicating findings, recommendations, and repair options to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize digital tools, diagnostic equipment, and mobile technology to complete work orders, record service data, track parts usage, and maintain accurate service records.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies, including proper refrigerant handling and recovery.
  • Collaborate with team members, dispatch, and project managers in the Technical & Maintenance department to coordinate work, share technical knowledge, and support project success.
  • Mentor junior technicians by sharing best practices, troubleshooting techniques, and safety procedures to support their growth and maintain high service standards.

  • Sys on customer sites as a professional, dependable partner, upholding company values, promoting long-term client relationships, and identifying additional service opportunities.
