Local Truck Driver

Lew Thompson & Son Trucking is seeking a Local Truck Driver for a dedicated route hauling refrigerated and live poultry in the Harrison, AR region. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial truck on a dedicated local route hauling refrigerated and live poultry freight
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues
• Follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations, including hours-of-service rules
• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery to poultry producers and related facilities
• Secure and handle freight according to temperature and animal welfare requirements
• Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and delivery documentation
• Communicate with dispatch and operations regarding schedules, issues, and route updates
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers and plant personnel
• Keep truck and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
• Participate in company safety meetings and ongoing driver training as required
