Community Engagement Manager

The American National Red Cross seeks a Community Engagement Manager to deepen local impact through outreach, partnerships, and volunteer engagement. In this role, you will plan and lead community events, blood drive outreach, and preparedness education, cultivating relationships with community leaders, partner organizations, and volunteers. You will coordinate campaigns that support disaster response and humanitarian programs, track participation and impact metrics, and collaborate across Red Cross teams. This position blends strategic planning with hands-on execution to strengthen community awareness, participation, and support for the Red Cross mission.

Responsibilities

• Lead community outreach strategies to expand awareness of Red Cross services and programs
• Develop and manage partnerships with community leaders, organizations, and institutions
• Plan and execute community events, campaigns, and blood drive outreach initiatives
• Coordinate volunteer engagement, including recruitment, orientation, and recognition activities
• Support disaster response and preparedness education through community-based initiatives
• Track, analyze, and report on engagement metrics and program outcomes
• Collaborate with internal teams to align local engagement with national priorities and campaigns
• Create communication materials and presentations that promote participation and support
• Represent the Red Cross at community meetings, events, and public forums
• Ensure all activities reflect Red Cross values of compassion, inclusion, and humanitarian service
